We believe that every man, woman and child should have a safe and affordable place to live. It is the very core of who we are and what we do each and every day. During our 25 years of service in Statesville, Northern Iredell and Troutman, we have transformed lives by offering people a hand up and the ability to change their circumstance.

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

 

 

 

Urgent Repair Program

Habitat Iredell recently received an Urgent Repair Program grant from the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency.

If you need emergency repairs and you are elderly or have special needs and your income is below 50% of the area median income, you may be able to get help through the Urgent Repair Program (URP). 

As a homeowner, you may qualify for a grant through the URP program if you are elderly, handicapped or disabled, a single parent, have a household of five or more, or have children in your household with elevated blood lead levels.
